In righteousness you will be established: Tyranny will be far from you; you will have nothing to fear. Terror will be far removed; it will not come near you. If anyone does attack you, it will not be my doing; whoever attacks you will surrender to you. Isaiah 54:14-15
If you’re feeling oppressed or facing intimidation and injustice from others today, and you sense that enemies are rising against you, mocking you, or trying to harm your integrity, take comfort if you’re living righteously, obediently, and within God’s will. In these moments, fear shouldn’t rule your heart. God promises that His justice will lead and protect you, guiding you along peaceful paths and shielding you from oppression and fear.
Isaiah 54:14-15 assures us of God’s promise of freedom from oppression. Claim it, confess it, and believe it, no matter what challenges come your way. Even when conflicts arise, know that they won’t overcome you because, if you remain in the Lord and focus on Him, none of this will prevail, for He is with us.
Remember, when someone opposes you, they’re also contending with God Himself, for “whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye” (Zechariah 2:8). He’s your defender against adversaries, fighting your battles on your behalf. Trust Him and don’t be afraid; nothing can steal your peace. God brings order and honor to your life, not chaos. Fear will flee in the face of God’s power, and peace will reign.
Don’t exhaust yourself seeking justice on your own. Sometimes, the best way to fight is to stay still and let God fight for you. Move forward confidently, knowing you’re safe in His hands. Believe in God above what you see, and even as enemies attack, remember that His Spirit will stand against them (Isaiah 58:19).
Trust in the Lord, for He’s with you always. Peace be with you.
